Commercial Rehabilitation Grant Program
The Haines City Community Redevelopment Agency has established a Structural Rehabilitation Grant Program. This grant is aimed to assist with eligible repairs like: Roof replacement, HVAC, Painting of building & paving. Matching grants are available up to $50,000 to commercial property owners and business owners for rehabilitation of their building. The Structural Rehabilitation Grant program will be administered by the Community Redevelopment Agency of Haines City.

Small Business Development Council
The Haines City CRA has partnered with the University of South Florida to provide free business consultations and one-on-one coaching to assist business owners on how to take their business to the next level. Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month a business consultant will be on site ready to navigate and coach business owners on how to turn their dreams into a reality.

The Florida SBDC at USF offers confidential business guidance, in-person or virtually, including no-cost consulting, market research, training and more. Our business consultants are professionally trained and third-party certified with many specializing in areas such as international trade, capital access, marketing, and business certifications. The Florida SBDC at USF serves the 10-County Tampa Bay region, including Desoto, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota Counties.
The Florida SBDC at the University of South Florida is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide partnership program nationally accredited by the Association of America’s SBDCs and funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Department of Defense, State of Florida, and other private and public partners, with the University of West Florida serving as the network’s lead host institution. Florida SBDC services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Language assistance services are available for limited English proficient individuals.
