What happens when someone who was cited for violating a City ordinance or code fails to comply?

If the person in charge of the property has been cited for a violation and has made no effort to comply with the ordinance, the case will be presented to the City’s Code Enforcement Special Magistrate. A possible $250.00 daily fine may be imposed along with administrative cost may be assessed to the property owner for non-compliance and a lien will be recorded in public records against the property and all other properties that the owner of record owns.
