Pig Roast/ Political Rally

Hundreds of attendees braved the storm to enjoy a fabulous barbecue dinner catered by Texas Cattle Company, a Political Rally and our famous Silent and Live Auctions.

Local, county, and state political office holders and candidates campaigning for office attended to present their platform to the largest crowd to date introduced by Master of Ceremony, Adam Putnam.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet and greet both candidates and incumbents first before they voted for their favorite in our annual Straw Poll conducted by Polk County Supervisor of Elections!

While listening to the candidate speeches, attendees browsed our celebrated Silent Auction, of over 200 items, ranging football tickets to weekend getaways, donated by businesses to help raise funds for the Chamber’s 2009 Annual Program of Work.
