First, attend the Chamber's February 16th luncheon that will feature an update from Don Breeding, CEO of the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.

The Chamber celebrated its 33rd Annual Awards Gala on January 18th . Almost 200 attendees commemorated the accomplishment at Haines City’s Lake Eva Banquet Hall

The event featured red carpet photos provided by Ledger Media Group, entertainment by the band Ran$om, complimentary valet parking sponsored by Posner Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and a delicious dinner prepared by John Michael Weddings & Special Events. An intriguing presentation was given by Shelley Lauten, president of MyRegion.org. The event also featured the installation of 2012 officers and the presentation of several awards. Citizen of the Year was presented to Champ Tunno, Tunno Groves; Volunteer of the Year was presented to Nurka Soto-Valentine, Citizens Bank & Trust; and the City of Haines City’s Employee of the Year was presented to Eric Artherhults, Landscaping & Irrigation Supervisor. Several past presidents participated in the traditional passing of the gavel to Incoming Chair Tracy Mouncey.
