Deric C. Feacher has spent his professional career in government and consultant services. Deric has served as a Director of Community Relations at Keiser University, Executive Director of Winter Haven Housing Authority and numerous roles in municipal government starting as a Recreation Supervisor, Department Director, and Assistant City Manager to his current role as City Manager.
Deric is a proven manager where municipalities under his leadership experienced major growth and progressive development for the residents of the community during his tenure. He came to the City of Haines City early 2017 as Deputy City Manager and was elevated to City Manager in October 2017.
Deric is actively engaged in the community serving as the immediate past Board Chair for the United Way of Central Florida, a member of Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs, Board Member of the Haines City Chamber of Commerce, Polk State College Foundation, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the Florida City/County Management Association (FCCMA), the International City/County Managers Association (ICMA), and many more.
Deric earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Bethune-Cookman and completed Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Senior Executives in State and Local Government Executive Education program.
